This resonates so much, thanks for sharing your reflection. 🌸

I've noticed that when I'm feeling all sorts of meh but choose to commit to just 5 minutes -- 10 at most -- on something that's been bringing me joy lately (right now that's creating art with code and learning to drum), it often brings me back to a mental space where I feel energized, curious, capable, a place where I feel better.

You listed the big ones that always help me—walking without my phone, reading, putting together a collage. Another big one for me is meditation, or even just making room for silence. When I commute to and from work, for example, I drive without any music or podcast or audiobook. Just silence. I have enough trying to bombard me throughout the day.

Grateful for this at this moment. Love the list and a few of them remind me of awe walks.

An awe walk is a practice that encourages you to consciously shift your attention outward, toward the wonders and beauty of your surroundings, rather than dwelling on internal thoughts or worries.

Straightening up a bit while listening to a meditation on Calm can help me shift instantly. It's a bit banal - of course I also love all your ideas, walking, journaling, baking, READING for sure. Sometimes when tempted to scroll I pull any book off my shelf and read a bit and I'm re-centered. (I still scroll way too much.)
