I very much so needed to ready this essay, many lines stuck out but the one that got me the most was: "I've written about how the only shortcuts to life that I am genuinely concerned with are trusting yourself before it makes sense and telling the truth".
I have made it my number one priority in life to seek the truth first in everything, and I feel it has always led me to where I wanted to go, and perhaps the 2nd part is trusting what only you know is right for you but will only make sense later.
